Depressed Brain ๐Ÿง  VS Healthy Brain ๐Ÿง

๐ŸŒป Sophieโ€™s World ๐ŸŒŽ

STOP ๐Ÿ›‘ THE STIGMA OF MENTAL ILLNESS.

So … in 2014 after experiencing several loses, I fell into a deep, severe depression episode. I also got suicidal thoughts. I went to a doctor and told him about it, and this is what he told me, โ€œBut you donโ€™t look suicidal to me ?! Be positive, be grateful and think happy thoughts. Itโ€™s all in your head.โ€. ๐Ÿ˜‘ ๐Ÿ™„

You know what, in a way, thereโ€™s truth in it. Depression, anxiety , suicidal thoughts ๐Ÿ’ญ are all symptoms of a sick brain ๐Ÿค• ๐Ÿง .

And yes, it is true that our brain ๐Ÿง  is located inside our head ๐Ÿ˜Š.

I found this PET scan picture, and I want to share it with you guys.

PLEASE DONโ€™T GET DISCOURAGED OR ASHAMED IF YOU HAVE A MENTAL ILLNESS.

MENTAL ILLNESS/BRAIN DISORDERS ARE THE SICKNESS OF THE BRAIN ๐Ÿง . AND THE BRAIN IS AN ORGAN IN HUMANโ€™S BODY, AN JUST LIKE ANY OTHER ORGANS, BRAIN ๐Ÿง  CAN GET SICK TOO.

Stop ๐Ÿ›‘ the stigma of mental illness.

Thank you โ˜บ๏ธ for joining me on this Page. โค๏ธ- ๐ŸŒป Sophie

Hereโ€™s to the crazy ones โค๏ธ๐ŸŒป๐Ÿค—

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
